SES Imagotag, recently acquired by BOE, is having a good time with its Vusion electronic shelf label (ESL) which has won a Red Dot design award. The company also won a deal for use in Alibaba’s HEMA stores and reports that the technology has been chosen for use by the Euronics partner in Germany for more than 100 stores.
The tags are very configurable and available in a wide range of different sizes and resolutions up to 7.4″ diagonal. A range of features including flashing LEDs and different connectivity can be specified. There is a video here.
