LG Display has filed three new EU trademarks relating to Micro-LED—XµLED, SµLED and XLµLED. In the application, the company attributed the trademarks to laptops, tablets, smartwatches and VR glasses. TVs and large-sized displays weren’t mentioned, though the company has already announced it is developing Micro-LED for these uses as well.
