Renesas Electronics Corporation reported its financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2017. Consolidated sales in the quarter were 210.2 billion yen ($1.65 billion), up 26.3% compared to 195.5 billion yen ($1.53 billion) reported in Q4 of 2016. Net profit was 18.6 billion yen ($172.22 million) compared to 24.7 billion yen ($228.70 million) reported in Q4 of 2016.
Net sales and net profit were 780.3 billion yen ($7.23 billion) and 123.9 billion yen ($1.45 billion) respectively, in 2017 compared to 638.8 billion yen ($5.92 billion) and 62.0 billion yen ($725.59 million) in 2016.
