Sony has released pricing information for its new X900F and X850F ranges of LCD TVs.
The X900F, which features full array local dimming, the best kind of backlighting for HDR, retails from $1100. It incorporates Sony’s X1 Extreme processor, supports Ultra HD and Dolby Vision, and comes in screen sizes ranging from 49″ to 85″.
The X850F starts at $2,000 and is available in screen sizes from 65″ up to 75″. It also supports Ultra HD and HDR, but its edge lighting doesn’t lend itself to superior HDR capabilities. Full pricing information is as follows:
