AGC Asahi Glass has announced that its curved cover glass is to be used in the newly redesigned Audi A8.
The announcement makes the new A8 the first mass-produced car ever to incorporate curved cover glass in its mounted displays.
The new Audi A8 features two touch-screens. The 10.1″ upper navigation and infotainment display features AGC’s curved glass, while the lower screen features a flat glass cover and will be used to operate on-board systems.
