We noticed that App-Tronics has a new “Smart Nav 5a mirror” that has GPS, radar detection, and a ‘front-viewing’ DVR. The ‘mirror’ has a 5″ display with 800 x 480 resolution (although this is described as ‘FullHD quality’) and there is an optional reversing camera available (which can alternatively be used to monitor children in the rear). The unit has a media player and an integrated FM transmitter to connect to a car audio, while also having Bluetooth 4.0.
