Christie has added the Extreme Series to its Aspect family of LCD displays. The new series consists of four models: FHD553-XE (FullHD + 500cd/m²), FHD553-XE-R , FHD553-XE-H (FullHD + 700cd/m²), and FHD553-XE-HR and include a range of brightness levels. The R versions are designed to run from 48V DC power supplies Designed for use in “near-seamless” video walls, the Extreme Series is the ultimate in viewing experience and will complete the Christie Aspect family to offer a full range of product options, including: bezel size, brightness, power, connectivity and price.
The monitors all support 24/7 operation, have 1.7mm (combined bezel to bezel) spacing and 50,000 hours of life. Contrast is 4,000:1 and response time is 8ms. Portrait and Landscape operation are OK and there are dual HDMI and single DisplayPort, VGA and DVI-D inputs and one DisplayPort output for daisy chaining). Features include OPS slots.
Featuring what Christie calls “advanced panel matching”, the brightness and color of each panel comes pre-calibrated, eliminating much of the image adjustment typically required when installing video walls. According to the company, the Smart Light Control feature can automatically adjust the brightness of each panel for uniformity across the entire video wall and maintain consistent performance throughout its lifetime.
Products start shipping in January.
