Prosecutors in Korea have raided the offices of Samsung Electronics in connection with an enquiry to into corruption that involves the Korean president, Park Geun-hye, whose friend, Choi Soon-sil is reported to have influenced decisions of the government and is alleged to have received money from Samsung. Ms. Choi is in detention. The Yonhap News Agency reports that other raids have continued.
