Although it doesn’t have a display, we couldn’t resist mentioning the Welt (Wellness belt), a kickstarter project to develop a ‘smart belt’. The company said that it had raised more than double its original Kickstarter goal. The device helps users by taking waist measurement, by counting steps and time spent seated. The belt communicates with an app using Bluetooth and is due to start shipping in December.
