MMD will show Philips monitors at IFA this year (Berlin, 2nd-7th September) focusing on colour, speed and immersion.
Among the monitors will be what MMD calls the largest UltraHD monitor on the market. This 40″ screen will be known as the Brilliance Curved Display. It features a tilt option and integrated speakers. Other curved monitors will also be on show, including a height-adjustable and ‘ultra-slim’ 34″ model with 2560 x 1440 resolution.
The new C7 series represents the slimmest-ever Philips monitors. They feature UltraColor technology (90-95% NTSC) and have very thin bezels on three sides. For even more borderless viewing, MMD will also show 23.8″ (1920 x 1080) and 27″ (2560 x 1440) four-sided thin bezel units.
23.8″ and 27″ models will also be shown in the E8 range; these feature UltraColor technology and 2560 x 1440 resolution. Curved models will include a 27″ and a 31.5″ model, both 1920 x 1080. Joining them will be a 31.5″ addition to the existing E7 series, also with UltraColor.
Finally, a B2B monitor will be shown with a pop-up webcam.
MMD will be in Hall 22.
