Huawei, which signed up to Google Daydream as a hardware partner (Google Sets Specs for New VR Platform) in May, will launch a VR HMD this month, according to Asian sources. The company has set up a platform and SDK to tempt developers. This launch will be to test market response – Huawei does not expect the VR market to mature for another two-to-three years.
