Huawei’s newest tablet, the MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro, is focused on content consumption (and not, as the name suggests, for work). The 10.1″ LCD display (IPS panel) has an eye care mode – although the company couldn’t tell us exactly what this means! We assume it refers to low blue light output.
Like other premium tablets, the Mediapad supports a windowed mode, so two apps can be run side-by-side. The battery (6,660mAh) will last for at least 11 hours, Huawei says.
Display resolution is 1920 x 1200, with an 800:1 contrast ratio and 300 cd/m² of brightness. Viewing angles are 150°. Android 5.1 runs on an octa-core 1.5GHz processor, with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage (models are also available with 3GB of RAM and/or 32GB of storage).
Huawei is selling the T2 10.0 Pro now, for €200 (WiFi) and €240 (4G) ex VAT.
