Visionox Subsidiary Rolls in MicroLED Production Line Machinery

Visionox’ Vistar is a division created to solely focus on the commercialization of MicroLED products. Chenxian Optoelectronics focuses on production and mass transfer technology for MicroLED. There’s a seemingly convoluted mess of divisions, and subsidiaries that all seem to fall under the same brand here, but are also being heavily subsidized by local governments building out manufacturing centers for specific technology. So, for the record, the factory is Chenxiam Optoelectronics and Vistar is the brand for the commercial products. I haven’t always gotten that right.

As the local government often provides infrastructure, funding, tax breaks, and even land for high-technology manufacturing, any progress in projects is a cause of celebration and a positive reflection on all parties involved. So, it goes with Chenxian Optoelectronics which held a ceremony this week to mark the installation of equipment for the first TFT-based MicroLED production line.

Chenxian is claiming that the production equipment is proprietary, developed in partnership with the equipment suppliers, and that it has a path to self-reliance in MicroLED technology. The company has over 350 employees, 35% working in R&D, and claims to have filed over 900 patents for its inventions. The company claims to achieve a yield rate of 99.995% for its MicroLED mass transfer technology.
