LG has been supplying MicroLED and LED screens for virtual reality (VR) and extended reality (XR) studios. The partnership with Mo-Sys will allow LG to offer a more comprehensive solution for virtual production and XR stages. Customers will be able to integrate LG’s LED displays and controllers with Mo-Sys’s XR products for a complete virtual production solution. A spokesperson for LG said that the company will continue to seek partnerships to strengthen its B2B solutions.

Mo-Sys is a UK-based company founded in 1997 by CEO Michael Geissler and known for its pioneering work in motion capture in AR/VR, camera tracking systems, remote camera heads, and virtual production technology used in broadcasting, filmmaking, and other content creation industries.
