Spinetix, a developer of digital signage software and hardware, is joining forces with display manufacturer Sharp NEC Display Solutions Europe to provide an all-in-one digital signage system. The collaboration will allow customers to easily deploy and manage digital signage networks on Sharp NEC displays using Spinetix’s DSOS operating system and Arya content management system (CMS).
The integrated solution features Spinetix’s dedicated OS preloaded on Sharp NEC displays with built-in Intel compute modules. It also includes out-of-the-box access to the free discovery plan of the Arya CMS for launching digital signage quickly without recurring license fees. Sharp NEC’s displays’ integrated modules can be upgraded without replacing the entire display.
Nils Karsten, retail business segment lead at Sharp NEC, said the partnership allows them to meet customer demand for turnkey digital signage with accessible cloud tools and room to scale. Users can upgrade from the free Arya CMS plan to paid enterprise options for more features through Spinetix certified resellers.
