Indkal Technologies has recently launched the Google TV lineup from Acer in India. This lineup includes a diverse range of OLED and QLED displays across six series, each with its own unique configurations and features. The flagship O Series features OLED displays and comes with a 60-watt speaker system equipped with large woofers. The O Series is available in 55-inch and 65-inch variants. The V Series, on the other hand, showcases QLED displays. It offers multiple size options including a 32-inch entry-level, as well as 43-inch, 50-inch, and 55-inch models.
The most likely contenders for volume sales are going to be the value lines, the I and G Series. The I Series boasts features such as MEMC, Dolby Atmos and Vision, and UHD Upscaling. The I Series models come with a variety of audio systems, including 30-watt speakers in the 32-inch and 40-inch models, and 36-watt and 40-watt speakers in the UHD models ranging from 43-inch to 75-inch. The I series models are expected to be available from 6 June through various channels.

Indkal Technologies, the brand licensee for Acer’s TV business in India, had set a target to sell approximately 500,000 Acer TVs in 2023. The company launched Acer TVs in October, 2022, selling 300,000 units in India last year. Most of the sales are in the value segment. To support its growth plans, Indkal is building up production capacity, expanding its distribution network, and establishing additional service centers for after-sales service for end users. The introduction of these premium smart TVs based on Android TV 11 is the first major product refresh, and Indkai has said it hopes to sell a million Acer TVs in 2024 across all market sectors.
