The formation of JDIT-K through a corporate reorganization and rebranding marked the transition of Kaohsiung Opto-Electronics (KOE) to JDI Taiwan Kaohsiung in 2021. JDIT-K is responsible for designing, developing, and selling market-leading industrial display solutions. This rebranding effort is part of a consolidation process that aims to establish a unified branding for all JDI display products and solutions.
As of 1st February 2023, all new products and packaging previously identified with a KOE logo started transitioning to using a JDI logo. It is worth noting that this change in branding does not impact any other aspect of the products. JDIT-K has an established LCD heritage with over 40 years of experience in developing simple character and dot matrix displays. More recently, the company has been committed to providing display excellence by designing and producing In-plane Switching (IPS) and low-temperature poly-silicon (LTPS) displays. JDIT-K will continue to develop and produce a broad range of high-quality, performance-optimized display solutions. In addition to the rebranding effort, JDIT-K has launched a new domain name, www.jditk-j-display.com, which replaces the previous website domain, www.koe.j-display.com.
