Ming-chi Kuo, an analyst at KGI Securities (with a better-than-average record for Apple predictions) has said that a new 4″ iPhone will be launched in 2016. The phone, apparently called the 6C, will be Apple’s second attempt at breaking the entry-level market. It will replace the iPhone 5S and feature 1136 x 640 resolution, an A9 CPU and metal case, although 3D Touch will be left out. Kuo predicts that shipments will begin in early 2016, ahead of a possible March/April launch.
Apple has planned an event in Mrch, where it will reveal the small iPhone and a new Apple Watch, according to 9to5Mac.
