LDM Product Roundup – Vol 22 No 47

The Radiforce RX850 medical monitor from Eizo (Eizo Brings Modular Monitor to RSNA) has achieved FDA 510(k) clearance for breast tomosynthesis, from the USA’s Food & Drug Administration.

Litemax has raised the mean time before failure (MTBF) of its LCD modules, to 100,000 hours. The technology will be available on the Durapixel and Spanpixel ranges, which previously had 70,000-hour lifetimes.

The HDCast Pro dongle, which Optoma announced in September, has now been launched. The device can be used to enable wireless content streaming to an HDMI display. It is compatible with AirPlay, Miracast, MHL and DLNA and can stream video in 1920 x 1080 resolution.

Optoma has also modified its ML750e mobile projector, adding a short-throw lens and renaming it the ML750ST. The unit boasts all of the features and specifications of the preceding model (1280 x 800, 800 lumens, LED light source, etc), but has a 0.8:1 throw ratio. It can throw a 25″ – 200″ image, measures 112.5 x 123 x 57mm and weighs 420g. Optoma will begin to sell it in January.
