After showing them at Infocomm 2015, Christie has launched three new large-format UltraHD displays: the 55″ FHQ552-T, 84″ FHQ842-T and 98″ FHQ981-L.
Both the 55″ and 84″ displays feature 10-point IR touch and are compatible with Christie’s Brio multi-site presentation and collaboration solution. The 98″ is not touch-enabled, but is able to run 24/7. The other displays are designed for long (but not 24-hour) run times, and all displays are supplied with a three-year warranty. The displays can only be used in landscape mode.
IPS panels provide the displays with a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 178° viewing angles, 8ms response time and 120Hz refresh rate. They cover 72% of the NTSC colour gamut and can show 10-bit colour.
DisplayPort, HDMI (x4), VGA, USB and RS232 ports are featured on each model; the 55″ and 84″ units have an additional USB port for touch, as well as an IR receiver. The 98″ features an IR extender. All three have two 10W speakers.
The 55″ and 84″ models use edge-LED backlights. They have 350 cd/m² and 430 cd/m² of brightness, respectively. The 98″ is direct-lit, with 500 cd/m².
Christie’s new FHQ displays will be available this month. Pricing is on application.
