A one-stop encounter with industry-leading display innovations awaits you with MMD at the Philips stand in Hall 22 – such as panoramic curved screens and colour with unrivalled brilliance.
The highlight products at IFA will be:
- The first curved Philips monitor brings the user to the centre of the action: This new 34-inch display wraps around the user’s line of vision to create a truly immersive, focused experience. The edge-to-edge glass and ultra-narrow border maximize the viewing area and make viewing more comfortable. The display also features CrystalClear, UltraWide Quad HD resolution (3440 x 1440) and a wide viewing angle to bring graphics and images to life.
- Taking colour intensity to the max, a new 27-inch IPS-ADS Adobe RGB display with Quantum Dot Color IQ™ is also premiered. Delivering over 50% more colour than traditional LEDs, this transformative technology is more affordable, costing a fraction of most colour-critical technologies. And it’s also more energy-efficient: Quantum Dot Color IQ uses 25% less energy than comparable technologies.
- Making its European debut appearance at IFA 2015 is the Ambiglow Plus Base. This unique feature creates a halo of light on and around the base that syncs with the display image. The light is still available even when the display is off: users can adjust colour and brightness to create a unique room ambience. It is also possible to set the timer to wake up or fall asleep with light of a chosen colour.
- Keen to protect users’ health and well-being, MMD is rolling out its innovative SoftBlue technology to a 24-inch model. SoftBlue technology protects eyes and reduces eye fatigue without sacrificing colour. It works by eliminating emissions of blue light at harmful wavelengths while retaining the fidelity and quality of the original colour.
Please take the time to join us at IFA, test-drive the display innovations for the upcoming year. You can find the brand-new Philips monitors at the Philips stand in Hall 22.
