Scientist and photographer Bryan Jones has put the Apple Watch’s display under the microscope. Of course, the sub-pixel arrangement looks very different to that of the LCD-based iPhone; the blue sub-pixels are much larger than red and green, for instance, as this is the least efficient colour in an OLED display. Jones also highlights the Fore Touch pressure-sensing system, which is visible in one of the pictures as a set of orange lines.
