Continuing to expand its curved monitor range, Acer has introduced the XZ350CU – designed specifically for gaming. The monitor is a wide-screen unit with a 21:9 aspect ratio (2560 x 1080 resolution).
On the surface, the 35″ monitor is similar to the XR341CK, launched in June (Acer’s Predator Series is for Gamers). Both are curved wide-screen displays with frame rate synchronisation. However, while the XR341CK uses AMD’s Freesync, the XZ350CU features Adaptive Sync. Refresh rate is 144Hz and viewing angles are 178°.
The monitor features low-blue-light and flicker-free technologies. An adjustable stand is also featured; this enables the display to tilt between -5° and 35°, and is height adjustable to 130mm.
DisplayPort, HDMI (supporting UltraHD at 60fps) and USB 3.0 (x4) ports are featured. The display can replicate 100% of the sRGB colour space.
Acer’s new monitor will go on sale this month. We have contacted the company for more information.
