Under Armour Invests in Signage for Flagship Store

Under Armour, an athletic clothing brand, recently opened a new store in Chicago, which has been equipped with digital signage throughout. Designer and integrator Activate the Space worked with the company on the Chicago Brand House. Five distinct signage elements are located in the store, three of which use 3mm-pitch LED modules: a five-sided suspended LED cube, (67.3m² of display space); an LED ceiling suspended over the first floor rotunda (65.6m²); and an LED ring suspended between the floors in the entrance rotunda (34m²). Smaller signage includes the Optojump Interactive Experience, which uses a 46″ display from 3M and an Apple Mac Mini to record the height a person can jump; and a variety of kiosks around the store, running on more Mac Minis.
