TCL Multimedia saw sales volume of LCD TVs increase 19.7% year on year in March to almost 1.6 million sets, of which the volume of smart TVs increased by 125.7% YoY to 437,493 sets.
In TCL’s home market in China, sales volume increased 22.6% YoY to 684,995 units, with smart TVs increasing 51.5% to 352,747 sets and accounting for 51.5% of the TCL’s total LCD TV sales in the region last month. The overseas market achieved a 17.6% increase in sales to 913,848 TVs, while in the emerging markets, sales volume increased by 57% to 565,485 sets. Sales in North America also recorded 73% growth YoY.
