The Nio 5MP LED is Barco’s newest medical monitor; cleared by the USA’s FDA for mammography and radiology use, the 21.3″ greyscale display has a bright backlight to ensure that subtle details are noticed more quickly.
An integrated front sensor is combined with Barco’s Uniform Luminance Technology; these features are used for fast power-up and long-term luminance stability and uniformity. Additionally, the monitor is DICOM-compliant, with calibrated luminance of 500 cd/m².
Pivot (90°), tilt (-5° – 25°), swivel (+/-30°) and height adjustment (100mm) are supported.
The IPS panel used on the display has 2560 x 2048 resolution (5:4), with 170° viewing angles, a 1,200:1 contrast ratio and 25ms response time. Maximum luminance is 1,020 cd/m². DisplayPort, dual-link DVI-D, USB (x2) and USB-B inputs are featured.
Barco recently showed the display at the ECR exhibition in Vienna. It will be available soon.
