Reports suggest that Sony is planning to increase orders of one glass solution touch panels with Truly Optoelectronics, which make the firm one of Sony’s main handset touch panel suppliers. At the same time, Tianma Optoelectronics is expected to receive more orders for HD handset panels. Sony is looking for lower-priced solutions to compete with Chinese vendors which are focused on high-specification, low-priced products in order to boost market share.
