Production of polariser’s at Chi Mei Materials’ factory in eastern China may not begin until mid-2016. Production was originally scheduled for Q1’16, but has apparently been delayed by the time taken to obtain government approval for the investment project. There will be a total of six production lines and annual capacity will be 12 million m².
