Until the end of December, AMD is offering up to 50% rebates on its Firepro graphics cards. First-time purchases of the W9100, W8100, W8000, W7000, S9000 and S7000 cards from approved resellers will be eligible for rebates of up to $2,000. The ‘Experience AMD Firepro’ campaign will be available in the USA, Canada, the UK, France and Germany.
Germany’s Distec is now distributing an UltraHD TFT-LCD module from Innolux. The M280DGJ-L30 is a 28″ a-Si unit with an anti-glare coating; 1,000:1 contrast ratio; 10-bit colour; and 1.5ms/3.5ms (Tr/Td) response time. Viewing angles are 170 deg /160 deg and brightness is 300 cd/m². The product uses a V-by-One interface. Distec is offering the module as a complete kit solution for the DisplayPort/HDMI/DVI ZG323 controller board. Price is on application.
The USA’s TouchSystems has released a new touch display, based on NEC‘s P463 46″ LCD display (Display Monitor Vol 20 No 21). The P4650P-U3, which is available now, features up to 60 touch points, palm rejection technology, an anti-stiction surface and anti-glare, scratch- and break-resistant cover glass.
