In a new report (http://tinyurl.com/oxat8gf) Forrester Research shares five ‘urgent truths’ about wearables. The first truth is shared for free: demand, despite the hype bubble, is real. Forrester’s data shows that 45% of adults in the USA and 32% in Europe are ‘intrigued’ by the prospect of a wearable device. The company predicts that the hype-train will reach new heights with the release of the Apple Watch: 42% of consumers in the USA and 36% in Europe said that they are interested in wrist-based wearables, compared to 28% (USA) last year.
