4KUniverse is to launch its 4K SVOD service on Amazon Fire TV in May this year in North America. The service will be based on Accedo’s Videa cloud-based platform solution. The channel is available on linear, cable and satellite TV and multiple OTT devices, offering 24-hour UHD TV series, movies, documentaries and sports, all in 4K resolution. Accedo’s Videa cloud-based platform solution is intended to enable any channel to build and manage customised video applications, without the need for additional design or development.
