ZTE Mobile Devices Brings ZTE Tour for Consumers to Spain

ZTE Mobile Devices, a leading global mobile device maker, today announced that following its success in European countries and the United States, its traveling roadshow for consumers to experience ZTE devices is expanding to Spain. The Europe tour kicked off in Barcelona during Mobile World Congress on February 21st, and passed through Germany, Poland, Italy and France, and concluded the first leg on April 16th.

After a short break, the tour, which has a bus that showcases ZTE devices and related fun activities, will travel through 16 additional Spanish cities from May 3 to June 21, including Madrid, Valencia and Seville. Through the tour, visitors will get to try out smartphones and smart projectors from the AXON, Blade and Spro series and see how each of these can make an impact in their daily lives.

“So far, our ZTE team has thoroughly enjoyed meeting our enthusiastic fans from a variety of cultures across Europe,” said Jacky Zhang, CEO of ZTE EMEA and APAC. “We’re pleased by how many consumers visited us and gave our devices rave reviews. ZTE puts the heart of users in everything we do, and this is a great initiative for us to hear valuable feedback from our consumers.”

More than 18,000 people have seen ZTE on the Europe tour, which has traveled over 11,625 kilometers and across 14 cities. ZTE Mobile Devices has partnered with bloggers across dozens of events, drawing huge crowds and introducing the company to new fans, both in person and through social media, using hashtag #ZTETour.

In Spain, the ZTE tour is just the latest way ZTE Mobile Devices is connecting with consumers, and this is in accordance to the company’s 2016 goals of boosting brand awareness and doubling market share in the country. Following ZTE’s sponsorship of Sevilla Football Club announced in February, the ZTE tour will join the fanfare at the team’s last home game May 8 and spot in the Cope del Rey finals on May 21 in Madrid. ZTE announced a sponsorship deal with the team at Mobile World Congress 2016, to serve as the club’s “Official Technology Partner.” This sponsorship seals the deal for ZTE to be the Official Smartphone of the team.
