Samsung will begin supplying Beijing electronics manufacturer Xiaomi with rigid 6-inch QHD OLED panels from December 2017, according to a report by Korean publication The Bell.
Xiaomi had originally been brokering a deal with LG for its OLED supply, which fell through after the opening of LG’s new plant was set back.
The report states that Samsung intends to ship one million OLED panels to Xiaomi in its first month of operation, with an additional 2.2 million units to ship in January 2018.
