Wortmann AG has expanded its Terra Pad range of tablets with a rugged professional model called the Terra Pad 1090 Industry W8.1 Pro. Featuring hot-swappable batteries and modular options, such as a barcode reader, the tablet meets the MIL-STD 810G and IP65 certification standards.
The Terra Pad’s 10.1″ display has 1920 x 1200 resolution and 1,000 cd/m² of brightness. A 2.9GHz Intel Core i5 processor runs Windows 8.1 Pro, with 4GG of RAM and a 128GB SSD. Both 3G and 4G connectivity can be optionally supported.
Micro-HDMI, mini-USB, USB 3.0 (full size), micro-SD, micro-SD, RJ45 and RS292 interfaces are featured. The tablet also has a docking connector.
Wortmann AG is selling the new Terra Pad now, for €2,300 ex VAT.
