World’s First PoE-enabled Products Built on AptoVision BlueRiver Chipsets to be Showcased at InfoComm China 2017

AptoVision™ today announced that the first products based on its BlueRiver™ NT AV-over-IP chipsetsto include 10G Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability are now available from Aurora Multimedia, a fellow SDVoE Alliance member. The IPX Series, in conjunction with Huawei’s new 24-and 48-port 10G PoE switches, will be demonstrated at InfoComm China 2017 (April 12-14, China National Convention Center) in the Aurora booth EK5-01.

“With PoE, the constraint of having to locate AV endpoints near AC power outlets is eliminated,” said Paul Harris, CEO of Aurora. “This unique capability, coupled with the zero-latency transmission of pristine 4K video enabled by the AptoVision BlueRiver technology, lets integrators easily satisfy even the most demanding pro AV application requirements.”

“Incorporating 10G PoE into the IPX Series of transceivers is just the latest innovation from Aurora Multimedia,” said Charles Dobson, VP global sales at AptoVision. “They have a long history of AV industry ‘firsts’ and have been delivering zero-latency 4K streaming solutions based on our BlueRiver chipsets for quite some time.”
