Wood and Leather Lend Touch of Elegance to Motorola

Motorola has begun to launch the second generation of the Moto X and Moto G smartphones. They are available for $500 and $180, respectively. The Moto X’s display and resolution have grown from 4.7″ and 1280 x 720 to 5.2″ and 1920 x 1080. The phone uses an AMOLED screen, and wood and leather are used in the chassis design. Android 4.4 runs on a quad-core 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 SoC. A 5″ display (1280 x 720) is used in the Moto G, which features a long battery life and a quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 SoC.
