WiseChip Sees Strong Growth

WiseChip Semiconductor, which makes PMOLED panels, saw profit for the first half of the year of NT$127 million ($4.2 million) on turnover of NT$905 million ($29.8 million). In July revenue was NT$182 million ($6.0 million), up 10.4% MoM and 46.2% YoY, bringing sales for the year to date to NT$1.09 billion ($35.9 million), up 13.4%. The company will soon have more production capacity and is developing flexible displays for automotive use, so the second half of the year should see a rise in shipments.
