The Korea Herald has reported rumours from Korea that the next major Samsung smartphone, expected to be the S8, will only be available with the kind of curved display seen on the current S7 Edge. There are expected to be 5.1″ and 5.5″ diagonal versions, the same as the current S7 series.
Analyst Comment
The paper said that Samsung would like to have done this before, but yield problems meant that it was not able to make enough panels. (BR)
