The Insitute of Advanced Motorists, a UK charity, has warned that the Apple Watch (which it incorrectly calls the iWatch) could be dangerous to use while driving. Head of policy Neil Greig said that the Watch “has the potential to be just as distracting as any other smartphone device… Indeed, more so if you have to take your hand off the wheel and your eyes off the road to interact with it”.
