Volfoni Selected by Grand Cinemas as 3D Technology Partner

Volfoni, the leading European provider of 3D technology, today announced that Volfoni was selected by Grand Cinemas as their 3D technology partner for the provisioning and roll-out of over 40 screens for 3D cinema technology. Grand Cinemas is the leading provider of quality entertainment throughout Lebanon and the leading cinema chain in Lebanon, Jordan and Kuwait. Volfoni’s 3D cinema technology will be deployed in a state-of-the-art multiplex to be opened in ABC Mall in Verdun, Lebanon.

Grand Cinemas will deploy a combination of Volfoni’s 3D cinema technology products, including the highly efficient SmartCrystal™ Cinema NEO series and the award-winning SmartCrystal™ Diamond series. The initial deployment will be for Grand Cinema’s new state-of-the-art multiplex to be opened in ABC MALL in Verdun, Lebanon in August 2017. The follow-on deployments will be used to upgrade and replace existing 3D cinema products, from a leading competitor, with Volfoni’s higher performance and higher efficiency products.
