Visionox has begun to produce a 1.45″ AMOLED display for wearable applications. The new display has 340 x 272 resolution and a 1.5mm frame. It features both MIPI and SPI interfaces. Visionox has said that a smartwatch, which will be on sale in China this February, will be the first product to use the new display.
The company also announced that its 5.5″ AMOLED panel (Visionox Begins AMOLED Mass-Production) will be used in a smartphone that will go on sale in March.
