ViewSonic Showcases Smart Collaboration Solutions for Today’s Classroom at ISTE 2015

ViewSonic Corp., a leading global provider of visual solution products, will showcase the company’s classroom collaboration solutions at the 2015 ISTE Conference and Expo, June 28-July 1, at the Philadelphia Convention Center in booth 1352.

ViewSonic will demonstrate how their projectors, large-format displays and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) products work smarter to connect and deliver information, interactivity and management solutions in any classroom or school.

“ViewSonic’s display products offer a wide range of solutions that can be used for interactive content and information sharing,” said Al Giazzon, vice president of marketing at ViewSonic. “Our large-format displays and projectors are ideal products that inspire collaboration in the classroom, between students and teachers or teachers and administrators. At this year’s ISTE, ViewSonic will show the flexible ways classrooms can connect smarter and more efficiently. Whether it’s sharing content through our 70-inch interactive display or projector or through our VDI-based smart displays, ViewSonic has a connected solution for every classroom.”

The CDE7060T is ViewSonic’s new 70-inch, 10-point simultaneous touch, interactive, large-format display. With 10-point touch-enabled surface and pre-installed annotation software, the CDE7060T allows multiple users, from students to teachers, to write, draw or annotate with fingers or stylus devices simultaneously, encouraging collaboration as lessons come to life. The LED-based display features native 1080p (1920×1080) resolution for HD color and clarity, while the embedded ARM dual-core processor and Linux OS provide lightning-fast computing and smooth touch capabilities. This ensures students and teachers enjoy a responsive screen experience with each tap, pinch, and swipe. For the ultimate in connectivity the CDE7060T includes HDMI, VGA, USB, LAN and RS232 support. An optional slot-in PC provides additional computing power, while ViewBoard™ software delivers robust annotation options that make presentations more productive and engaging.

ViewSonic’s LightStream™ PJD6552LWS networkable short-throw projector delivers a big screen solution for smaller environments. Featuring true-to-life color, SuperColor™ technology and a smart design, the PJD6552LWS has a brightness level of 3200 lumens with native WXGA (1280×800) resolution. This projector balances color and brightness levels to provide the best-in-class color accuracy. As a short-throw projector with a 0.49 throw ratio, the PJD6552LWS can easily be used in small rooms and classrooms to project large images. The easy-to-use network management system allows IT or AV teams to remotely control up to 256 ViewSonic LightStream projectors, meaning the PJD6552LWS can be controlled across multiple classrooms or an entire campus.
