ViewSonic’s newest 65″ display, the CDE6502, is a digital signage screen with a high contrast ratio, hard coating and bundled media player. The vController software, which is pre-installed, can be used for remote management and scheduling.
A blue light filter and flicker-free viewing mode are built in. The display also features dual 10W speakers, USB playback and RS232 IR pass-through, as well as HDMI CEC functionality.
A quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of storage runs the Android-based media player.
Display resolution is 1920 x 1080. The screen has 350 cd/m² of brightness, 178° viewing angles and a 4,000:1 contrast ratio. The cover glass features an anti-glare coating with 3H hardness. Response time is 8ms.
MHL-HDMI, HDMI, VGA, RS232 and USB 2.0 (x3) ports are featured.
ViewSonic is selling the CDE6502 now, for $2,400.
