Notebook demand was particularly strong, with shipments posting over 5% YoY growth. Following a solid first half of 2024, the market is expected to gain momentum, with total PC shipments projected to rise 6% in both 2024 and 2025, reaching nearly 70 million units this year and 74 million units in 2025.

Commercial demand, driven by the approaching end-of-life for Windows 10, has rebounded sharply. Shipments to large enterprises increased 12% quarter-over-quarter (QoQ), indicating a strong PC refresh cycle. While growth in the consumer and SMB segments was more moderate, both still saw healthy gains of 3% and 6% respectively.
