According to the latest report from PMA Research, when it comes to large-format displays, there has been an increase in sales of 98-inch and larger displays in the corporate sector, suggesting a revival in corporate market demand, and an increase in government activity as that segments busy fourth quarter approaches.
The decrease in prices for large displays is contributing to the increased sales with the average price for 100-105 inch displays dropping from over $8,500 in the previous year to about $6,500, largely due to the influx of low-priced Chinese brands. However, despite the reduction in prices, revenue for this segment has not grown as much, with a 1% increase compared to the previous year. PMA attributes this to the significantly higher sales volumes, which have offset the lower prices.
