Due to stakeholder feedback regarding the launch of the updated Computers and Display 2018 Product Category, GEC is notifying stakeholders that the public launch will move to January 18, 2019.
Products meeting the updated computer and display criteria will be listed on our new EPEAT Registry platform at epeat.sourcemap.com. Six months after launch, products registered to the IEEE 1680.1:2009 product criteria will be subsequently archived on June 28, 2019.
New Look for the EPEAT Registry
The EPEAT Registry is being updated, and purchasers can already check out the new look and feel of the EPEAT Server category at epeat.sourcemap.com. In the coming months, all registered EPEAT products will be featured on the new platform, EPEAT Registry 2.0.
- December 14, 2018: Mobile phones, imaging equipment, and televisions will move to the new EPEAT Registry 2.0 platform
- January 18, 2019: Computer and Display products meeting the newly updated EPEAT criteria in IEEE 1680.1:2018 will move the EPEAT Registry 2.0 platform.
- February 2019: Computer and Display products meeting EPEAT criteria in IEEE 1680.1:2009 will move to the EPEAT Registry 2.0 platform.
- June 29, 2019: Computer and Display products meeting EPEAT criteria in IEEE 1680.1:2009 will be archived and only products meeting updated criteria will be actively registered in EPEAT..
