UDC has signed two agreements with Tianma Micro-electronics: an OLED technology licensing agreement and a supplemental material purchase agreement. Together, they will run for five years.
UDC, through its subsidiary UDC Ireland, has granted Tianma non-exclusive licence rights – under various patents it owns or controls – to manufacture and sell OLED display products. In addition, UDC will supply phosphorescent OLED materials to Tianma for use in the licensed products.
