Korea’s Money Today claims that Samsung Electronics has lowered its TV production capacity by more than 11 million units this year, due to weakening TV demand. Capacity at the end of September was under 33.5 million, down from 44.8 million a year earlier, says the source. Capacity for the whole of 2015 is expected to be 45 million units, down from 63 million in 2014.
