Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) reported record monthly turnover of NT$94.31 billion ($3 billion), up 41% from a year earlier.This gave year to date revenue of NT$596.01 billion ($19 million), a rise of 3.6%.
United Microelectronics posted August sales of NT$12.93 billion ($400 million), an increase of 6.1% on the same period last year, although year to date turnover was down 3.7% to NT$96.83 billion ($3.1 billion).
Vanguard International Semiconductor saw a 31.9% increase YoY in August sales to NT$2.23 billion ($71 million), with year to date revenue of NT$17.09 billion ($544 million), up 6.3%.
