Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSMC) saw sales exceed NT$80 billion ($2.6 billion) for the first time in October, its fourth consecutive record monthly sales figure. Last month’s result represented a 56% year on year increase in sales and brought sales so far in 2014 to NT$621 billion ($20.3 billion), 23.5% higher than a year earlier. TSMC has forecast sales for the final quarter of the year of around NT$220 billion ($7.2 billion).
